In Infinity Deathmatch: TAG Raid, the presence of the Combined Army is due to the Morat. Considered a plague by the rest of the universe, the Morat are the quintessential militaristic race. These aggressive and violent aliens have become the main force of the Combined Army and are among the forces serving the EI before any other species.

And what are the Morats doing on Ariadna? Did they really come here to extract minerals like the other mining companies? Actually, the Morats of the Dravot group have a completely different goal: a Shasvastii stealth transporter has crashed somewhere deep in the wilderness of Khurland. His cargo: half a dozen Gurlanak to be dropped off by the Combined Army in Antipodean Land. The mere presence of these aggressive megabeasts would have been enough to trigger a mass exodus of terrified savage antipodes to the lands inhabited by the Ariadnans and a new offensive by these alien creatures against humans. The chaos and confusion caused by the rampaging Antipodes would have provided the perfect distraction for the Combined Army to gain a foothold on this planet. But on Dawn there is no enemy worse than the planet itself, and the plans of those who forget that are doomed to failure.
