Descending from the heavens on a winged steed, the deadly Valkyrie is a warrior in the service of Odin, the god of war, himself! Though their numbers are small compared to the hordes of beasts and demons that have overrun the lands now corrupted by the void energies of the Dark Stone, the Valkyries have come to defend the mortal lands from the invading darkness.

This Kickstarter-exclusive promo hero Valkyrie is an all-new Norse-themed hero class. She is not part of the Viking team heroes but is a separate hero class in her own right. As a mythical warrior in the service of Odin, the Valkyrie is one of the strongest fighters of all. Since the Valkyries are female by definition, there is no "male" version on the back of the hero sheet for the Valkyrie hero class. Instead, there are two different versions of the Valkyrie itself, each with different starting gear and stats.

The Valkyrie Shieldmaiden is a defender of light sent by Odin to protect the world of mankind from the spread of darkness. Heavily armored with a helm, shield, and spear, the Shield Maiden can challenge her foes, deflecting damage with her Valhallic armor and deflecting blows to protect herself or others with her mythical shield while impaling them with her warrior spear.

The Valkyrie Avenger instead embodies the sum total of Odin's wrath! Armed with a helm and spear, she has sacrificed heavy armor for speed and agility. She slices right through her foes with each swing of her Vengeance Blade, a mythical sword capable of cutting enemies in half and possibly even killing them!

Contains Valkyrie Character Sheet, playing cards, upgrade skill tree, rules sheet, 1 Valkyrie Shieldmaiden miniature and 1 Valkyrie Avenger female miniature, with 30mm bases.
