Sheol is a cooperative game that can be played solo or with up to 4 players, with an emphasis on storytelling and strategy. Sheol is set in a coherent universe in which game mechanics and setting are closely linked. It is divided into campaigns, which in turn are divided into missions.

In each mission, players must tactically coordinate their efforts in order to achieve objectives and defend the central game area (the citadel) from enemy invasion. The story progresses from mission to mission, allowing characters to discover the mysteries of the world of Sheol and unlock more items and abilities.

The story of Sheol in brief

As the shadows reached the moon, a dark mass called the Sheol began to form, completely enveloping the moon like a black tide, and the moon "called" the shadows to earth. Despite being technologically advanced, humanity had no way of stopping the shadows that were slowly filling the earth and wiping out almost all humans. The planet was completely shrouded in a layer of clouds so dark that sunlight could not penetrate, and the survivors fled to the Isle of Light, also known as the Citadel, humanity's last outpost.

Lux, a kind of light radiation that can destroy the shadows, was discovered too late. Trapped between the mighty walls, humans must defend themselves against a world that now belongs to the shadows. Only the scouts, explorers of the unknown, dare to challenge them. In this game you are one of them.

Night Land contains 47 miniatures including the Citadel.
