The Pater-Officers of the various Panocean military orders (Hospitalites, Teutons, Knights of Santiago, Knights of the Holy Sepulchre, Montesa...) have the task of leading the vanguard of the loyal troops into the heart of the battle. In the heat of battle, cut off from God's call, the Pater-Officers are able to reach the gates of Hell itself.

They are ruthless, they attack without fear of death because they know they are imbued with the power of Christ. This religious fervor has resulted in such a high number of casualties among the officers of all Chapters that it has been decided to equip them with remote presence combat units. Currently, the Seraphs are the most visible element of any assault force of any military order, always on the front lines of battle to unleash the wrath of God through their own weapon systems or those of their accompanying auxbots.
