As the Allies battle the enemy on the beaches of Europe, another battle begins in a Brooklyn child's bedroom when the nightmarish boogeyman kidnaps a boy and takes him to the realm of darkness. The child's toys, led by the toy soldier known as the Colonel, band together to launch a daring rescue operation. On their perilous mission, they come face to face with the boy's bitter and forgotten toys, but also with betrayals within their own ranks.

In The Stuff of Legend, each player takes on the role of one of the boy's trusty toys, each with their own unique abilities. Players work together and scour the darkness in search of the boy before the boogeyman can escape with him. But be careful: your allegiance can change during the course of the game, and at any time one of your fellow players could secretly work against you for the evil Boogeyman.
