XIA: Legends of a Drift System Core Game English Kickstarter

Xia: Legends of a Drift System is a competitive sandbox-style space adventure for 3-5 players. Each player begins as a humble but hopeful captain of a small spaceship.

Players fly their ships through the system, completing a variety of missions, exploring new sectors and fighting other ships. Players navigate dangerous environments and choose to mine, salvage, or trade valuable cargo. Captains compete with each other for titles, riches, and most importantly, glory.

The most trainable, risk-taking and creative players will prevail. A captain will rise above the rest, surpassing mortality and becoming a legend!

Customize: Each player begins the game by selecting and equipping a Tier 1 starship. Invest all your money in engines and become a fast but fragile explorer. Put all your money in a super rocket and watch other players flee in fear. Get a small drive and save space and credits to invest in buying and selling cargo. Or build a well-equipped ship that's ready for anything. In Xia, you always have a choice.

Customize: Xia's goal is to become the most famous captain. Players can earn Fame Points by completing missions, defeating ships in battle, purchasing higher-tier ships, selling Charge Cubes, and claiming titles. The best pilots adapt to their environment, make quick decisions, and change plans mid-flight. If you can think quickly, you'll do just fine in Xia!

Sandbox: The real fun of Xia is that every game is different. There is no fixed direction of play - players can choose to be peaceful merchants, savage pirates, workers, miners, opportunists, etc. The game board is randomly laid out and explored for each game. Players can choose not to explore at all, creating a tiny arena for fast and deadly combat, or explore all 19 sectors and utilize one large gamescape. It's up to you!
